Challenge
IT department in companies in the chip industry
approx. 10,000 employees
Management feels that implementation is weak and is perceived by other departments as a hurdle in change and digitization projects rather than as a driver
Goal
After 8 months:
- Increase the perceived effectiveness of level 2 management (7 people) in everyday working life from 70% to 90% effective working time within 5 months
Measures
- Shadowing of all managers (1 day on site/ online) to assess the status quo and then individual feedback with suggestions to increase effectiveness
- Presentation of the hurdles identified from the shadowings, joint prioritization of clusters according to estimated benefits and effort
- 4 x 2h online training on priorities derived from shadowing: effective meetings, individual time management, operationalization of strategy in everyday work, development of employees
- 2 x 1h follow-up training to develop solutions to challenges in implementing training content
- Sparring as required on topics from training to support implementation
- Weekly performance measurement using a standardized survey
